I am a painter and photographer born in Poland. I studied fine art at the University of Silesia in Cieszyn and Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, both graduated with honors. I use the classic oil on canvas technique because it gives me a lot of freedom to create and apply many layers and thoughts. I am inspired by nature, which is the best painter. With its meadows, gardens, vast fields, seas, oceans and lakes I’m bound to find some beauty in both my natural environment and on my travels. My paintings are a story about a human being who is not literally present in the painting, but rather through his landscapes of the soul, exhibiting all emotions from joy, hope and delight, to sadness and fear. I am also inspired by art, especially impressionism with all the patches of light and shadow, expressionism with its deep emotions and wild colors, and abstract expressionism with its infinite possibility and joy of creation.
I don’t paint what I see, but what I saw. - Edward Munch
