Visual artist and secondary school philosophy teacher. Born in Valencia, she currently resides in Granada. Her practice focuses on experimental artistic photography, with references to both surrealism and expressionism.Among her main influences are Magritte, Giorgio de Chirico, Georgia O'Keeffe, James Ensor, and Remedios Varo, whose aesthetics converge in her interest in the fantastic, the dreamlike, and the symbolic.Thematically, her work addresses the experience of loss in its multiple forms: emotional or physical separation, illness as the loss of health or reason, and death as an extreme form of absence. She also explores themes such as love, the city, and motherhood.Through deep introspective inquiry, she questions the notion of reality, articulating her experiences and emotions in visual compositions that integrate various photographic and visual techniques.
