Maxine Shore was born in New York City and educated at Chatham College, Middlebury College, and the Sorbonne in Paris. A former art teacher, Maxine studied art at The Parsons School of Design, the National Academy, and The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. An accomplished oil painter, she has won numerous awards and exhibited her work throughout the United States.
