
Osvaldo was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1957. He studied Drawing and Painting at the Dr. Pedro Figari Art Center in 1975 and completed a Master’s in Graphic Advertising at the University of Uruguay in 1978. From 1980 to 2022, he worked as a graphic designer, advertiser, and artist, while teaching drawing and painting from 1983 to 2003.
In 1985, he held a solo exhibition of abstract works, followed by a joint exhibition in 1993 with his colleague and friend Emilio Bolinches at Galería Moretti, Montevideo. After relocating to Madrid, Spain, in 2008, he won First Prize in the 2010 Holy Week Poster Contest in Viveiro.
Recent exhibitions include “Otros Mundos” (2021) at Hoopper, Madrid; “Evolución de lo Desconocido” (2023) at Galería Origen, Madrid; “ARTEXPO PARIS 2024” at Galerie Agnes Nord, Paris; and “Fusión” (2024) at Galería Origen.
