Rosana Laiz Blursbyai
Illustrator from Spain · 1199 artworks

Rosana Laiz García is a Spanish architect with a deep passion for art, design, interiors, handmade jewelry, and all things beautiful. She lives in León, though she is originally from Los Barrios de Gordón, a small village. Rosana has been drawing since childhood, initially sketching medieval princesses and later transitioning to fashion designs as a teenager. While studying architecture, she focused on buildings and street views, though the extreme weather in Valladolid made outdoor sketching challenging.

Her first year of architecture was memorable, especially sketching Greek and Roman statues with charcoal and pastels. Surrounded by artsy friends and family, she credits them with shaping her creative process. Rosana’s work is diverse and eclectic, embracing a variety of mediums. She favors minimalism in type-based design and uses vibrant colors and bold strokes in her paintings. Her digital illustrations follow a modern aesthetic, emphasising solid colors and clean, simple shapes.
