Jaco Putker
Illustrator from Netherlands · 60 artworks

Jaco is a contemporary artist and printmaker from The Hague, The Netherlands. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague, and also spent a year studying sculpture at the Escuela Superior de Belles Artes Ernesto de la Cárcova in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After Jaco’s graduation from the Academy, his attention shifted from the 3D to the 2D. Initially he was concentrating on painting, but after some years he began incorporating graphic techniques in his work and before long he found his niche in printmaking.

The body of work called “The Nature of Things” is an exploration of how nature works, in all of its perfection and self-reliance, in its power of rejuvenation and destruction. In how it has a profound effect on virtually every human being. Every part of nature is connected to any other part of nature.
