Irene Yesley is a designer who focuses her work on patterns, abstraction and color. Her primary interests are Formal which means emphasizing shapes and spacing, color and composition over a recognizable message or content.

Having lived north and south on both US coast plus 6 years in Turkiye has expanded and deepened her views of art making.

Materials are another important influence for Irene.  For the last decade, she has been painting on layers of Plexiglas or using Plexiglas as a support for constructing 3-dimensional shapes.
