Catherine Martzloff has been painting for over two decades, reconnecting deeply with her craft 15 years ago after significant life changes. Following these events, she made the intentional decision to leave her professional role to focus on healing, raising her daughter, and rediscovering her creative voice. She began with drawing classes to rebuild her foundation and, encouraged by a mentor, transitioned into painting—a medium that quickly reignited her passion and sense of purpose, reminiscent of her college days as an art major.
In 2011, Catherine began exhibiting her work in juried shows, gaining affirmation and momentum. Her practice has since evolved to feature bold colors and courageous expression, reflecting her lifelong connection to the emotional power of color.
Now based in New Jersey, Catherine paints daily, balances her creative pursuits with running a small dog-boarding business, and shares her work with collectors around the globe.
