Cassia Beck is a Brighton-based collage artist known for her colourful paper artworks using vintage imagery mixed with geometric shapes and a splash of humour. Cassia's work, inspired by mid-century design and old advertisements, blends the old and new, bringing textural images to fit in any space.
With a degree in workshop ceramics, Cassia took a different route and focused on her collages which she has been creating for most of her adult life. She has been featured in magazines such as Frankie and Flow. Her work has also been licensed for greeting cards and various book covers.
Cassia's original works can be found in galleries across the UK and Canada.
Each piece is crafted with old materials found in discarded books, magazines and found papers. All scraps are kept for new work with very little waste.
