Andile Bokweni, also known as Andileh, is an artist inspired by poetry, the presence and strength of women, and the beauty found in raw, textured environments.
Her work is characterized by a soft yet expressive painterly style, where faceless figures, warm palettes, and rich, earthy tones create a sense of quiet emotion and introspection. Drawing from both natural landscapes and intimate interior scenes, her compositions balance simplicity with depth — often placing solitary female figures in serene, almost dreamlike settings.
There is a poetic stillness in her work, where rough exteriors meet softness, and where color, light, and texture come together to tell subtle, visual stories.
Through her art, Andileh explores femininity, solitude, and atmosphere, creating pieces that feel both grounded and deeply evocative within a space.
