Lydia is a freelance illustrator from Norwich, U.K., now based in Perth, Australia, where she lives with her husband, Eli. Her work is inspired by a desire to create warm, inviting imagery that evokes a sense of safety and comfort.
Her passion for creativity began in childhood, spending time with her grandparents alongside her brother, experimenting with different artistic techniques under the guidance of her nana, while her grandad cheered them on. Over time, and through personal experiences with mental health as well as supporting young people through work in schools and church youth groups, her art has become increasingly focused on sharing positive, uplifting messages.
