Sara's journey as an artist began in 2015 when she took a simple line drawing class. That class developed into a passion for illustration, and her greatest loves these days are acryla gouache and ink. After over 40 years in the international marketing arena (including digital graphic design and advertising), Sara is happiest with a paintbrush in her hand.
Sara lives her life with a sense of humor, and the purpose of her art is to create joy for the consumer – even if only for a moment. Her work is relevant and upbeat , and there is no limit to what inspires her. From the cafes of Paris to the sprinkler heads on the ceiling of the doctor’s office, Sara has everything she needs around her to create the art she loves.
Since retiring in March 2019 from the corporate world to pursue her art full-time, Sara works hard and plays hard. When she’s not painting in her studio, you can find her on a plane (she’s visited over 30 countries) or in her art journal – or both!
